Wide Range of Experience
We adhere to SA 2.5 standard for surface preparation.
Removal of nearly all mill scale, paint or foreign matter by the use of abrasives, propelled by pressurised air through nozzles or by centrifugal wheels.
A near-white blast cleaned surface finish is defined as one free from oil, grease, dirt, mill scale, rust, corrosions, oxides, paints and any other foreign matter. All would have been completely removed from the surface, except for very light shadows, very light streaks, discolouration’s caused by rust stains, mill scales, oxides or light.
At least 95% of each square inch of surface area shall be free of all visible residues and the remainder shall be limited to the light discolouration mentioned above.
We use various aggregates such as cold chilled iron shot, garnet, shells and glass abrasives depending on the substrate and finish required.
